There are many means of transport that people can choose. For example aperson can travel by car, by, bus, by train, by plain, on foot etc. Somepeople prefer convenient and more expensive ways of travelling such astravelling by plane, by ship, by car, however some people choose simple andcheap means of transport for example going on foot or ridding a bicycle.Travelling by bicycle has many advantages and disadvantages. One of theadvantages is that riding a bicycle is very useful for our and other peoplehealth. Riding a bicycle makes our muscles stronger and makes our heartswork better. Then you ride a bicycle you can enjoy fresh air and wonderfulview of landscape. Also bicycles don’t pollute the air and if you choosethis mean of transport, you can save a lot of money. You don’t have to payfor petrol and bicycle doesn’t require much care as other means oftransport.But cycling has several disadvantages. For example, you can’t travel bybicycle in all seasons. It’s not comfortable to cycle when it rains, snowsor when it’s very cold. But if the weather is good, the sun shines, it’swarm bicycle would be the best mean of transport. And of course not all theways are adjusted to cycling. For example in our city there are fewbicycle roads and it’s not comfortable to ride on a main street. One moredisadvantage of cycling is unsafety. It’s very dangerous to ride a bicyclein the evening when it’s dark. You can see the road and of course you canbe attacked.If talking about myself, I prefer travelling by car or walking on foot. Ithink a car is the most comfortable kind of transport and you can reach the
destination very quickly. You can travel by car by good and bad weather,you can go to any place you want and it’s cheaper to travel by car then byplane and it’s also quite safe. But if I want to enjoy fresh air, beauty ofnature, I have lots of time I prefer going on foot.I think that all means of transport have their advantages anddisadvantages. Every person can choose transport according to his wishes,or financial status. And of course all kinds of transport are veryimportant part of our lives. We couldn’t live without them.
