We should ban all privat transport

All private transport should be banned from town and city centres

Have you ever thought why some people have breathing problems in the cities? The answer is simple – air pollution. Air pollution is one of the most important problems in the world. How can we solve this problem? Maybe the solution of this problem is to ban all private cars from town and city centers?

As far as I can see, there are three main reasons to ban all private transport from town and city centers. The first reason is no more congestion in cities. The second is safe pedestrian-only zones. And the third and final reason is that, if we banned all private transport from town and city centers, then there wouldn’t be any air pollution and the air would be cleaner. In my opinion, we should allow deliveries and public transport, but ban private transport.

On the other hand, there are some arguments against banning private transport from town and city centers. First of all, public transport is unreliable and uncomfortable. Secondly, public transport is filthy and not all people can travel. For example, the elderly or disabled people. Finally, we will never be able to ban cars from town and city centers because it is hard to define what the expression “private car” means. What if a private car is a business car? Would that car allowed? It is too hard to define.

To sum up, I think that we can’t ban all private transport from town and city centers because it would create a lot of disadvantages for people. If we want to understate air pollution we could create more car parks, charge cars for driving into city centers or allow cars in on alternate days but not ban all private transport.
