There are 4 seasons in a year:spring, summer, autumn and winterAnd one of them is my favourite season-winter.In Lithuania winter is usually a cold season. It often snows.The air is frosty and all the lakes, rivers are frozen over.The days are short and the nights are long.There is is a little sun in winter as the sun rises late and sets early.Very often the sky is grey. The nature is sleeping and sometimes it gets rather boring.But winter is a good time for sports.It’s a real pleasure to go skating and skiing especially when the day is frosty and sunny. On such a day it’s healthier for children and adults to spend some time outdoors.I like snow and frost. I like winter sports that is why winter is my favourite season.
