Reported Speech(Netiesioginė kalba)
Keičiant tiesioginę kalbą į netiesioginę laikomasi šių taisyklių: 1. Tiesioginės kalbos žodžiai virsta netiesioginės kalbos šalutiniu sakiniu: a) Tiesioginis sakinys prijungiamas prie pagrindinio sakinio jungtuku that arba visai be jungtuko pvz. Tom said „I need some help” Tom said (that) he needed some help. b) bendrasis klausymas prijungiamas prie pagrindinio sakinio jungtuku if arba whether pvz. “Have you got a pet?” He asked me. He asked me if/whether I had a pet. c) Specialus klausymas prijungiamas prie pagrindinio sakinio jungtuku atitinkančio klausiamąjį žodį: who, where, when, why, what etc. pvz. „Where do you live?” She asked me. She asked me where I lived. d) Sakinius liepiamojoje nuosakoje jungiame prie pagrindinio sakinio veiksmažodžio bendratimi pvz. “Marius opens the window please” The teacher asked Marius to open the window. “Don’t smoke in the room John.” She asked/told John not smokes in the room. 2) Keičiant tiesioginę kalbą į netiesioginę išlaikoma klausiamojo sakinio žodžių tvarka. 3) Po told (tell) visada reikia naudoti papildinį. She told him, her, me, you, it, us, them. 4) Laikai keičiasi tokia tvarka: Present Simple – Past Simple Present Continuous – Past Continuous Present Perfect – Past Perfect Past Simple – Past Perfect Future Simple – Future in the Past5) Laiko ir vietos prieveiksmiai keičiasi taip: Tonight, today, this week/month – that night, that day, that week/month Now – then, at the time Yesterday, last night – the day before, the previous night Tomorrow, next week – the falling/next day, week Two days ago – two days before This, these – that, those
