Later, when the humanity have created powerful machines, various chemical materials, learned to govern the nuclear energy, their appeared lots of ecological problems. The most important elements of our surroundings – air, water and soil are more and more polluted.The number of people is increasing very fast in the world nowadays. The matter is that they need more and more working places, food, clothes, cars, planes… that_s why the pollution of the nature increases. The amount rubbish formed 40 milliard tones in the world in 1970, but it is prognoses that this number can reach even 1000 milliard tones in 2000. For example, every inhabitant of the USA throws out about 82 kg of paper, about 250 tins, 390 bottles -total about 1 tone of various unnecessary things during the year. Can_t they be recycled?Some of the countries want to export all kinds of rubbish to others, more backward countries. Is it a right decision? We all live in the same planet… Polluted nature has a negative influence not only for the people_s health, but for the inheritance of the civilisations culture, too. The famous architectural buildings in all the world suffered from the acid rain more during the last 30 years, than during 300 years up to this. We have presented just several facts of our polluted environment. Now we have to decide how we can clean our planet.Pollution is endangering our survival. We know that robbery means taking things away from other people. But robbery isn_t just stealing money or other things. Pollution is also robbery.When you think about murder, do you think of a bank robber shooting a policeman? This is indeed murder. Sometimes murder is quick, but other times the killer prefers to torture his victim until he dies. Pollution murders in that way.
We can_t always count on someone else to figure out a way to solve the problem. We can start by cleaning up the polluted surrounding in our neighbour- hood!Litter just doesn_t appear—it is the result of careless attitudes and improper waste handling. Is there anything you can do? • They feel no sense of ownership, even though areas such as parks and beaches are public property.• They believe someone else—a park maintenance or highway worker— will pick up after them.• Litter already has accumulated.
“Litter-Known” FactsMotorists and pedestrians are often blamed for litter. There are actually seven primary sources:
Household trash handling and its placement at the curb for collection.Dumpsters used by businesses.Loading docks.Construction and demolition sites.Trucks with uncovered loads.Pedestrians.Motorists.Litter is blown about by wind and traffic or carried by water. It moves until trapped by a curb, building or fence. Once litter has accumulated, it invites people to thoughtlessly add more.
What Can I Do?
• Set an example for others, especially children, by NOT littering.• Carry a litterbag in your car.• Make sure trash cans have lids that can be securely fastened. If you have curbside trash collection, don’t put out loose trash in boxes.Tie papers in a bundle before placing them in a curbside recycling bin.If you own a business, check dumpsters daily to see that top and side doors are closed.• If you or a member of your family is involved in a civic group, scouting, or recreational sports program, encourage the group to “adopt” a spot in your town or neighborhood and maintain it on a regular basis.
Report areas where people have illegally dumped garbage and debris to your local highway, public works, sanitation or conservation office, and ask that the material be removed. Volunteer to help organize a cleanup of the area.• Ask the organizers of a festival, fair or other outdoor event in your community to make it a “litter-free” event. This can be done by giving out litterbags at entrances and making sure that everyone who attends knows that it is a “litter-free” day. Affiliates of Keep America Beautiful have organized litter-free concerts, fairs, and minor league baseball games.• Cover open loads on all trucks.• Ask marina operators if your Boy or Girl Scout troop or civic group can pass out litterbags to boaters. Public boat ramps also are good spots to give away litterbags.• If you smoke, use a portable ashtray to dispose of cigarette butts. Air_s pollution It_s time to face the increasing amount of carbon dioxide and CFI_s in the atmosphere are making our planet_s climate warm up. We have seen the warning signs in our increasing world temperatures. While this isn_t proof that global warming has begun, it certainly should warn us that something is happening to our climate. It takes only small changes in temperature to cause big changes in our world. And if we continue to put as much carbon dioxide to the atmosphere as we are putting into it now, the world_s average temperature may increase within the next 50 years.
If temperatures do rise, we can expect some drastic changes to take place. As temperatures go up, sea levels will rise and many coastal areas will become flooded. The warming could make droughts occur more often in certain areas. Some places could become so hot and dry that many crops couldn_t grow there anymore. And all over the world, plants and animals may not be able to adapt quickly enough to the sudden changes in their habitats. Some species could even become extinct. If we wait too late to present damage from the warming trend.Earht_s pollution We must cut carbon dioxide production by at least 20 percent and phase out CFI_s now. We must develop safer chemicals to replace CFI_s. We have to switch to solar power and other alternative energy sources. Some models have predicted that the increase in carbon dioxide will cause clouds to form. These clouds would block sunlight and cancel out much of the warming. And, according to other models, it_s possible that the earth_s huge oceans will absorb any extra. Individuals must do their part too, by taking public transportation instead of driving their cars so much and by buying more energy – efficient appliances and cars. And we have to stop the burning of tropical rain forests. By preserving these forests, we can reduce carbon dioxide emission caused by the burning and save the trees and other vegetation that help absorb carbon dioxide. It will cost money to make of these changes. But it_s better pay the price now – not later when the effects of global warming can_t be reversed. Our government must pay more attention in organising the cleaning of nature.

First of all it must mention the oils overflowing when tankers transport it. There are two ways, in which the oil fined oneself in to the sea: firstly, rivers bring the oil and the oil products, and secondly, the product of oil falls with the atmosphere precipitation. The sea pollution with the oil feels and the countrymen of seaboard oil which float on the water from sunrays evaporates and these miasmas_s are unhealthy. Firstly, the main problem is that people use too much pesticide in our fields. It seems that we live in health environment, but in reality our environment is polluted, so we eat the food with big dose of pesticides. On the whole not only earth is polluted, but air, water too. Speaking of earth_s polluting the other problem is that we are littering our environment. We can_t litter anywhere, because we all know how dangerous it is. Even the earth, food isn_t as fresh as it was 20 years ago. People created some chemicals (pesticides) for destroying weed and various insects in the fields. These pesticides are everywhere, chemicals are destroying water fauna, than fishes, and finally us. If we will try to grow up our flora without pesticides we will live longer than we do now. Stop littering and using pesticides!
